Cottage Description
The Hamlin Lake Bayview Cottage is located on the Middle Bay of beautiful 5000 acre Hamlin Lake which stretches to Ludington State Park, located on the shore of Lake Michigan. Ludington is one of Michigan's most popular and loved summer vacation spots.The cottage sits right on the water for swims in the lake, boating, or fishing. The house is approximately 2100 square feet, and can easily sleep 12 people. The main floor has 2 bedrooms, 2 full baths, and an open living room and kitchen with island and additional eating area. The lower walkout level has an additional bedroom, family room and enclosed porch. Both living and family rooms have twin and full size sleepers. The large deck overlooks the lake, and has a gas grill and firepit. A dock spans the width of the property and provides a waterside sitting area.
Ludington State Park offers beach swimming on both Hamlin Lake and Lake Michigan, hiking trails and lazy river tubing. The town of Ludington provides many types of entertainment - shopping, art fairs, restaurants, movies, concerts in the park and nightlife.
