Cottage Description
Croton Shores Cottage is nestled on a hillside on the northwestern shore of Croton Pond, a 1,320-acre boating and fishing lake that is part of the Muskegon River between Croton and Hardy Dams. It's the perfect place to relax, enjoy the view or try your luck at fishing.A rustic and cozy setting awaits you. The main room has knotty cedar walls and vaulted ceiling, ceramic tile floors and comfortable furnishings. A fully functional and equipped kitchen plus outdoor gas grill means that you'll have everything you need for your vacation meals. The spacious deck features a shaded table with chairs plus two loungers for relaxing and enjoying the private setting.
Take the steps down to the waterfront and your own observation deck. Here you can sit and enjoy the sight of swans, blue heron, turtles, ducks and even possibly the elusive bald eagle -- all in their natural habitat. You can bring your own canoe or small boat and explore on the water, then tie up to your own dock.
This is a smoke-free property. Pets may be allowed with prior permission and with an additinal $50 damage deposit.
