HACIENDA DELICIAS is on a 6+ acre property in the hills of Montezuma where the breezes flow up the lowlands, we are 980 feet above sea level but a mere 3-5 min from waters edge.The Hacienda which faces east offers spectacular sunrises over looking the Gulf of Nicoya and the far distant mountains of Manuel Antonio and Jaco beach. Beside offering a unique scenery from the upstairs and downstrairs teak verandas, the main focus tends to be the 2 ancient 120 year old mango trees and the surrounding tropical gardens, the mature Palms and Fruit trees. The tranquility of the property, with horses roaming freely, monkeys howling in the jungle and enchanted birds, will give you an unique experience of costa rican living.
Area Description
HACIENDA DELICIAS is located 5 minutes drive to the beaches and the Village of Montezuma. The downtown is small and charming, right on the water, it offers quaint restaurants that enjoy amazing water views and cute shops, a weekly organic local market,a multitude of activities such as charter fishing, diving and snorkeling, horse back riding, canopy tours and more. The property has the privilege of multiple access roads to all areas:in 10 minutes to the large town of the southern Nicoya, COBANO, where all services can be found, such as, medical facilities, gas station, postal office, banking and more, another access takes you in 7 minutes to different beaches, the tiny village of CABUYA and Finally to the CABO BLANCO first Natural National Park of the Country, and finally in 20 minutes to the towns of Malpais/Santa Teresa where daring surfers developped their own community.
The whole area is a delight for everyone, still very simple and authentic with just enought activities and services in an untouched natural environement.

Typically we do weekly rentals for families or groups
Friday to Friday or Sat to Sat but we are flexible if the schedule allows.
these weeks rent for roughly $950 plus a cleaning fee of $75 for a 7 night stay with a maximum of 10 persons
So the rental comes out to be about to be about $1025 for a 7 night stay, taxes included
* Payment Options: Cashier's Check, Money Order, PayPal, Personal Check
* Check In: 3 p.m.
* Check Out: 12 p.m.
* Required Stay: flexible
* Lodging Tax: 23
* Deposits: $200 deposit to be paid at booking time , will get deposit back after returning keys and after the property manager will check on property for damages.
* Other Fees: Once dates have been decided and a deposit of 50% is recieved for the dates selected as well a check for Security Deposit only then are the dates are confirmed and booked. Should the renter decide to change dates, there will be a rebooking fee to accomodate the change if possible of the itinery.

People actually have to hang out with one another and tighten up.
We do have Howler Monkeys that vist quite regularly to eat from the many mature fruit trees on the property.
many enchating birds, and squirells that love to eat coconuts all day long
We have fresh Tilapia in the Lagoon behind the Hacienda
And fresh water shrimp in the rivers in front and behind the Property
this is best attempted at night with a headlamp and trident or a net
